Candace Taglianetti - Head Coach
4th Season (2008)
After tripling their wins in 2007, Taglianetti returns for her fourth season at the helm of the Falcon Women’s Lacrosse program.
In three seasons, the Falcons have emerged as a growing program. Under Taglianetti, NDC have greatly improved on both ends of the field. Offensively, they have gone from scoring 6.0 goals per game in 2005 to 9.8 in 2006 to 12.6 in 2007. A defense that allowed 12.5 goals per game improved to 8.1 goals against in 2007.
NDC finished 5-1 at home in 2007 and also sported a ten-game win streak (Mar. 16- Apr. 14) during the season, including wins over NCAA Division I and II teams. Overall, against Division I and II teams, Notre Dame scored 65 goals while yielding 48.
Taglianetti is a former Division I lacrosse player from Ohio State University (1999-2002), as well as a Buckeye field hockey player (1998-2000). As a senior lacrosse co-captain, she helped her team to a national ranking and appearance in the first round of the NCAA playoffs.
Taglianetti came to College Road from Haverford College where she was an assistant coach from 2003-04. She also served as Interim Head Field Hockey Coach. She is active in multiple lacrosse and field hockey camps such as East West Sports Camps and Gamebreaker. She is a member of the US Lacrosse-Ohio North Chapter and serves as the Women’s Collegiate Chair.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from OSU and a master’s degree in Sport Administration and Management from Kent State.

Leslie Masterpaul - Assistant Coach
4th Season (2008)
Leslie Masterpaul began her involvement with Falcon lacrosse during the program's inaugural season as an assistant coach. In her second season, she took on the role of recruiter, traveling across the country in search of talented players. With her third year, she returns as an assistant coach, as well as the Assistant Sports Information Director.
A former lacrosse coach at Magnificat High School in 2004, Masterpaul directed the regional semifinalist team to a 10-5 record. She also coached Team Ohio, a local premier team that features some of the area’s top talent, for two years. Currently, she coaches for Ohio Premier, a developmental lacrosse program for area middle and high school players. She has also been a coach for East West Sports Camps. Masterpaul serves at the Women's Post-Collegiate Club Chair for the US Lacrosse North Coast Chapter.
A former player at Denison University from 2001-03, she was a two-time First-Team Regional All-American West selection, as well as a two-time First-Team All-North Coast Atlantic Conference pick at attack. A one-year team captain, she was also a member of the 2001 NCAC championship team. Prior to Denison, she played one season at William Smith College.
The Cleveland Heights, Ohio native holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Denison and a Master's Degree in Sport Management from The Ohio State University.

Joy DeMarco -Assistant Coach
1st Season (2008)
Joy DeMarco comes to College Road with a strong goal keeping background. DeMarco played four years of lacrosse at Ohio State where she was a four-time OSU Scholar Athlete. As a Buckeye, DeMarco finished her playing career in third place in career save percentage and was captain of the 2007 squad. Academically, she was a three-time Big Ten Academic honoree and the American Lacrosse Conference Honor Roll.
Prior to Ohio State, DeMarco was a standout goalie at nearby Hudson High School. She was a two-time Ohio North Goalkeeper of the Year.
DeMarco currently resides in Cleveland Heights and is in her first year of law school at Cleveland State.
