Spring season gets underway at Theil Invite

GREENVILLE, Penn. - Notre Dame kicked off the spring portion of their schedule Monday by competing against Theil College in the Theil Invitational. Theil won the event, held at the Greens of Greenville, with a team score of 506. Notre Dame fired a 599.

"This is what we needed," said first-year Head Coach Nick Formica. "To get out and compete. We have lots of new faces, so we want to get some events under our belt and show improvement."

Junior Ashley Carney (Solon, OH) was the team medalist for Notre Dame, with a 128. Terri Immarino (So/Kirtland, OH), Mary Kate Loftus (Fr/Rocky River, OH), and
Jackie Walsh (Fr/Findlay, OH) rounded out the scoring for the Falcons.
