Joseph H. Keller Center

Built in 1987, the Joseph H. Keller Center is home to the Falcon indoor training facility.

A recent renovation project updated the center with a new weight room that includes nautilus, free weights and cardiovascular equipment to allow student athletes the opportunity to monitor their fitness levels or undergo intense workouts.

A training room, team room, locker rooms and office area for the athletic department staff are new features of the renovation.

Mellen Pool
Mellen Pool

Mellen Pool is the training facility for the Notre Dame College women's swim team. It also offers open swims and water aerobics. It has 25 yards and six lanes that many of the athletic teams utilize for out-of-season conditioning.

Several of the best Cleveland area swim teams also practice and host meets in the pool.

A past swimmer for one of those teams, the Silver Dolphins, was USA Olympic Gold Medalist Diana Munz.

Outdoor Facilities

Outside of Keller is a regulation-sized soccer field with a smaller practice field. A fastpitch field, complete with two batting cages, is also located outside of the Keller Center.

The Falcon track and field teams make use of Korb Field located at Charles F. Brush High School, only two miles from campus. It includes a 400-meter, eight-lane, lighted all-weather track. An indoor facility is also available to the teams. The cross country teams have access to 30 miles of scenic terrain throughout the Metropark's North Chagrin and Euclid Creek Reservations, in addition to Forest Hills Park and Shaker Lakes.

The tennis team takes to the courts at the exclusive Mayfield Racquet Club. Twelve courts with automated service machines are available to the Falcons.
