NDC closes out '07 season at AMC meet

Routine check-upNov. 2: The Notre Dame Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams closed out the 2007 at the American Mideast Conference (AMC) Championship meet hosted by Walsh on Saturday.

The Falcon women finished in eighth place out of twelve teams tallying 232 total points. Cedarville won the AMC Title for the third consecutive year.

Allie Rendlesham (Jr/Richmond Heights, OH) lead the Blue & Gold for the final time in ’07 finishing in 26th place out of over 100 runners in the Women’s 3.1 mile competition. Rendlesham clocked in with a time of 19:49.55, just three seconds off the program record.

In the Men’s five mile, the Blue & Gold also finished in the number eight spot with 236 points. Malone, who is ranked No.1 in the NAIA took home top team honors. The top runner for the Falcon men was Kyle Komer (Jr/Richfield, OH) who clocked in at 28:31 for a 38th place finish.

The Notre Dame Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams took to the course one last time before the American Mideast Conference (AMC) Championship meet at the Walsh University AMC Preview Meet on Saturday.

Run on
Oct. 13: The Notre Dame Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invite on Saturday. The men finished 16th overall in a pool of 23 teams while the women finished 14th out of 20 squads.The top finisher in the women's competition was Allie Rendlesham (Jr/Richmond Heights, OH). She finished in 46th overall with a time of 20:28.53 in the 3.1 mile competition.
