From 1973-78, the program was sanctioned by the NAIA, but there were no district divisions.
From 1979-88, there was no women’s basketball program at Notre Dame College.
In 1988, the program was reinstated as a District 22 team. It remained as such until joining the American Mideast Conference beginning with the 1998-99 season.
The AMC then split into two divisions, the North and South, with the 2002-03 season. At which time, Notre Dame College became a member of the North Division and remains a part of the division today.
