NDC pins Miami
3-1 weekend against Ohio club teams
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - The Wrestling Falcons of Notre Dame College ran their inaugural season record to 9-6 Saturday with a 55-0 win over the club team of Miami University.
Both teams were competing on the back end of consecutive days of wrestling after they competed in a triple dual event Saturday in Bowling Green, Ohio. Sunday's dual meet, the second-ever home event held by the fledgling Falcon program, featured an 18-2 tech. fall recorded by Anthony Caruso (Fr/Beachwood, OH), who continues to excel at 133.
Ken Sanger (Fr/Cleveland, OH) won a major decision, 19-7, at 174.
The Falcons will return to action Sunday, February 11, when they host Bowling Green State University. The first bout Sunday is scheduled for 1:00pm.
