Few philanthropic investments are as productive and rewarding as
endowing a named award or scholarship... Typically, donors choose
to honor a spouse, family members, friends, professors or other
individuals when establishing the named fund.
Annually, earned income from endowed awards and scholarships provide
financial aid assistance to students. Alumni and friends establish
these named scholarships to aid in the recruitment and retention
of students in perpetuity. Donors may restrict their scholarship in
support of students who show academic promise, demonstrate superior
academic performance, have an interest in a specific field of study,
who belong to a specific club or athletic team and/or demonstrate
financial need.
Those students selected for endowed awards and scholarships are
usually recognized at the College's annual Honors Convocation in
the spring.
If you would like more information or have an interest in establishing
an endowed award or scholarship, please contact the Advancement Office at 216-373-5234 (or toll free: 1-877-NDC-OHIO Ext. 5234) or email Lheldposey@ndc.edu.
