History & Description
Notre Dame College, a Catholic institution in the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame, educates a diverse population in the liberal arts for personal, professional and global responsibility. The campus is situated on 61 beautiful acres less than 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland.

 

Application & Admissions Requirements
An online application is available at NotreDameCollege.edu. Paper applications are also available by request.
The following documents are required:

  • Completed application for admission
  • Official high school transcript stating date of graduation
  • Official ACT or SAT I score report (not required for transfer students)

Notre Dame College admits students who demonstrate potential for academic success.

 

Provisional Admission
A student may be granted Provisional Admission when his or her cumulative grade point average or standardized entrance examination performance falls below those standards necessary for full admission.

 

Services
Student Success Center: Combines the efforts of academic support, academic advising and retention to assist students in reaching their academic, professional and personal goals.
Dwyer Learning Center: Offers all students free tutoring and remedial help. Academic Support Center: Provides support services for students with documented learning differences such as ADHD and dyslexia. Counseling Services: Includes psychological, religious, and health-related assistance. Career Services Center: Assists with co-ops, internships, resume writing, career/job search. Computer Resources: Available in labs, residence halls, and library. Campus Safety: Offers 24-hour foot and vehicle patrols, late night transport/ escort service, 24-hour emergency telephones, and controlled residence  hall access.

Deposits

New, full-time students to Notre Dame College are required to make an enrollment deposit of $225 upon acceptance to the College. This deposit is NOT refundable after May 1st for Fall  Semester or January 1st for Spring Semester. The deposit will be applied to the student's  first term tuition balance and orientation.

New Resident students are required to make an additional $200 housing deposit.

In July 2011, Notre Dame was approved for provisional status in the NCAA membership process. Being approved for a provisional year advances Falcon athletic programs one step closer to becoming a full-fledged NCAA Division II member in time for the 2012-13 academic year.
