Interested in ROTC?

Notre Dame College invites you to take advantage of ROTC scholarship opportunities while pursuing your educational goals. Notre Dame students will attend ROTC programs at John Carroll University, which is conveniently located approximately two miles away.

ROTC Curriculum:

Freshman Year: Preparing for Success as an Officer

  • Fall: MS 101 
  • Spring: MS 102

Sophomore Year: The Role of an Officer

  • Fall: MS 201 
  • Spring: MS 202

LTC Leaders Training Course (If not prior service and join after sophomore year)
A four week classroom and field training held in the summer. This course is an accelerated version of the two year leadership development training cadets receive in the basic course.

Junior Year: Leading Small Tactical Units

  • Fall: MS 301 
  • Spring: MS 302

LDAC Leader Development and Assessment Course
A five-week summer course all Army ROTC cadets, who enter the advanced course, attend. Its purpose is to evaluate and train all Army ROTC cadets. This course takes place between junior and senior year of college. Conducted at Fort Lewis, Washington.

Senior Year: Transition to Becoming an Officer

  • Fall MS 401 
  • Spring MS 402

Physical Training (PT)
Three days a week, typically Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:30 -7:30 a.m.

Leadership Lab
Offered one day a week, runs about two hours. Registration is required.
