Welcome to the Notre Dame College Virtual Admissions Office!

After four years of record-setting enrollment, the campus of Notre Dame College is about to change. This past spring, the College broke ground on the first of two new residence halls that will open by 2009 to accommodate a student body that has tripled since 2004.

The College offers over 30 academic disciplines with exceptional programs including a nationally accredited education program, career-oriented business majors, and excellent science programs including a new bachelor of science in nursing. Notre Dame’s Center for Intelligence Studies is a new and innovative program that prepares students for entry level positions in the field of homeland security and private-sector intelligence analysis. But even with the growth of the student population, Notre Dame College has maintained an average class size of 16.

The enrollment growth has also transformed student life at the College. In addition to the traditional clubs such as student government, choir, and theatre, students can now participate on our new cheerleading squad or in our Pep Band. Our championship caliber athletic program has also expanded and now fields 18 men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports. Joining these scholarship teams in 2008-2009 is men’s swimming and diving.

One of the unique programs offered by Notre Dame College is the Academic Support Center for Students with Learning Differences (ASC). The ASC supports students with documented learning differences such as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and dyslexia.

An important reason for the recent growth of Notre Dame College is the philosophy of offering a private college education at an affordable price. A number of means are available to help students with the expense of their education including merit, need, and athletic based scholarships.

Even with an enrollment of 1,300 students, Notre Dame College remains committed its core mission of educating a diverse population in the liberal arts for personal, professional and global responsibility.

The campus is situated on 53 beautiful acres less than 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland. Students are welcome to visit campus anytime during the year, take a private tour, and meet with an admissions counselor, faculty member and current students.

U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges

US News & World Report ranked Notre Dame College as the third most diverse college in the Midwest among baccalaureate colleges.
