Admission to the Master of Education degree
program of Notre Dame College is determined on the basis of proven
intellectual capacity and potential for leadership as a master teacher.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally
accredited college or university
- A minimum undergraduate grade point average
of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale
- A valid teaching certificate/license
- Completion of at least one year of teaching
experience

- The names of two professional references

Transfer Credit
Upon admission to the master's program,
transcripts will be evaluated on an individual basis. A maximum
of six semester credit hours of appropriate graduate credit earned
at another approved graduate school may be applied toward the M.Ed.
program at NDC. Credit earned from no more than one, two- or three-credit
workshop will be applied toward the M.Ed. program at NDC. Acceptance
of credits and identification of specifics for remaining coursework
will be determined upon completion of the transcript evaluation.
Academic Year
The graduate program offers a three-term calendar,
starting in fall and ending in the summer. Students may enter the
program at anytime.
