The literature that Jessie read about Notre Dame gave her facts about the college. She was well prepared when she met with her admissions counselor, and thought she knew exactly what she would get from the Weekend College program. It was only when she began taking her classes that she realized what the real value of a Notre Dame College education was.

“Going to Notre Dame is an amazingly personal experience,” she says. “The professors are completely invested in you and your future. If you do poorly on a test they may pull you aside and ask if there is something wrong because they know you and care about your success.”

The students of the Weekend College have earned the reputation of being a close-knit community. Jessie believes that reputation is well deserved. “The camaraderie of the students is incredible. I now have many new people in my life who have the same goals and priorities that I do. Here, every experience is a shared experience, bigger than just friendship. The friendships are made on a different level. When I leave Notre Dame, I know that the friends I’ve made here will still be friends.”
