Toni Fiderio, an alumnae of Notre Dame College of Ohio, is an accomplished artist and dedicated art instructor. She shares her love and enthusiasm for drawing and painting with others through teaching and exhibiting her work. Through the years, Fiderio continues to teach all ages of students with a unique teaching approach that allows her students to enjoy both the hands on side of art and an understanding of the history and the fundamentals of art. Fiderio began her teaching career at Lake Catholic High School. As Art Director of Teregen Labs Pharmaceuticals, Fiderio took art to a corporate level by creating and designing the company’s logo, brochures, and product displays.

At the Fine Art Association in Willoughby, Ohio, Fiderio taught a variety of art classes, workshops, and private lessons. Most recently, Fiderio has joined the art department of Notre Dame College teaching Life Drawing and Watercolor Painting.

Throughout her busy teaching schedule, Fiderio continues to paint, concentrating mainly in watercolor and oil painting. Fiderio paints with several groups of artist concentrating on the figure and various sites around greater Cleveland. She has studied with local artists Tricia Kaman, Bob Raack, and Paul St. Denis as well as nationally known artists Maxine Masterfield, Mel Stabin, Arne Westerman, and Judith Carducci. She exhibits her work both locally and regionally in juried art shows and galleries. Her work was showcased for the Academy Graphic Communication, The Creative Advantage 2004 Calendar. In February, 2005, The Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine cover featured one of Fiderio’s sketches. The Page As Palette included an interview and a peak into the pages of her sketchbooks. She continues to search for inspiration in nature and the interaction light and color in representational work.
