Notre Dame College Presents Women’s Leadership Forum
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio—11 September 2006—Notre Dame College (NDC) presents its second annual Women’s Leadership Forum, Women in the Law, Wednesday September 20, 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the College’s Performing Arts Center.
According to NDC President Dr. Andrew Roth, “Notre Dame College is presenting this forum as an affirmation of its early mission to educate women. Now that the College prepares both women and men for personal, professional and global responsibility we hope the presenters’ insights will be an inspiration to all our future leaders, men and women, whether they pursue careers in law or other fields.”
The presenters, all Notre Dame College alumni and board members who practice diverse areas of the law, will share their perspectives as leaders in Cleveland’s legal community. Rosemary Grdina Gold ’79 practices domestic law in private practice; Dena M. Kobasic ’86 is a partner at Thompson Hine specializing in Business Litigation, eBusiness & Emerging Technologies, and Product Liability Litigation; Margaret W. Wong heads her own Immigration Law firm, Margaret Wong & Associates; and moderator Kathleen B. Burke, partner at Jones-Day specializes in general and commercial litigation with particular involvement in contract disputes, bankruptcy, insurance coverage, intellectual property, and appeals.
