Announcement of Faculty Awards Nominees

South Euclid, OH – 16 March 2005 - Each academic year, the Faculty Affairs and Development Committee (FADC) solicits nominations and then selects a faculty member for each of the two faculty recognition awards:

Distinguished Faculty Award - an award used to recognize a full-time, NDC faculty member who has demonstrated exceptional performance in teaching (i.e., classroom instruction, developing curricula, conducting/participating in in-service education), scholarship (i.e., presentation of lectures, papers, publications, etc.), and community service (i.e., committee membership, advising in academic and curricular matter, participating in college, civic, and church projects).

Outstanding Teaching Award - a special award given to a part-time faculty member to recognize and reward excellent teaching at Notre Dame College.

Students, faculty, and staff members have nominated the following faculty members for this year's awards. We ask that faculty, staff, students, and alumni carefully consider each nominee and then send supporting evidence (letters, documentation, etc.) as to why a nominee is deserving of the respective award.
