English as a Second Language Offered at Notre Dame College

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio—8 May 2009—Notre Dame College (NDC) is offering English as a Second Language (ESL) this summer for students and adults at various skill levels. The class meets Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6:00 – 9:45 p.m., from May 18 through June 19 in the NDC Administration Building.

The course will focus on grammar, developing listening and writing skills, and reading comprehension. Students will develop mastery of the essentials of English grammar, recognize the difference between formal and informal language, and develop college level language skills.

Any interested party may enroll. The course, which can be taken for undergraduate credit or continuing education credits, will be adapted to the needs of the students enrolled.
