Notre Dame College Holds Free Workshop
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio—23 April 2009—Notre Dame College is holding its second free workshop for adult students who are anticipating applying for college. “Navigating College Admissions as an Adult Student,” takes place Tuesday, May 12 at
6:00 p.m.
The workshop, part of a series presented by Notre Dame, is designed to help adults begin the admissions process and work through the many questions they will face. It will address the need to reinvent and retrain for those changing careers; important questions to ask an admission representative; time management/study skills; and procedures for students that have completed college coursework before and have transfer credits.
According to Margaret Oakar, director of adult and graduate admissions, “Our hope is that during these difficult economic times, we can share our knowledge with our neighbors in the community. This workshop will help adults navigate procedures that may seem intimidating, and will address concerns that may discourage them from applying to college.”
Notre Dame College is located at 4545 College Road in South Euclid. The workshop will be held in the Administration Building.
Seating is limited and reservations are required. Call 216.373.5173 for information, or to reserve your place.
