Notre Dame College Names VPAA

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio—9 July 2008—Notre Dame College has named Mary Breckenridge its Vice President for Academic Affairs. Dr. Breckenridge comes to Notre Dame College from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania where she served as Associate Vice President, Office for Academic Affairs and Director of the Organizational Leadership Graduate Program. Dr. Breckenridge will assume her new position on July 7.

At Mercyhurst Dr. Breckenridge served as a faculty member in Education and a founder of a masters level program in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, she has extensive experience in academic administration. Her research on Women and Leadership has led to numerous publications and presentations on the topic.

Breckenridge earned her bachelor’s degree at Virginia Tech, her master’s at the University of Southern California and her doctorate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She resides in South Euclid.
