Where we are changing the world, one student
at a time!
Mission
Statement: Notre Dame College, a Catholic institution in the tradition
of the Sisters of Notre Dame, educates a diverse population in the
liberal arts for personal, professional and global responsibility.
Notre Dame College sits
on 53 picturesque wooded acres, tucked away in a quiet suburban
neighborhood just outside of Cleveland, Ohio - the only small liberal
arts college in Greater Cleveland. We value the low student-faculty
ratio that fosters a warm personal atmosphere and the individual
attention that contributes to success.
Notre Dame's career-oriented
liberal arts programs help students succeed in the real world. Bachelor's
degrees are offered in 29 disciplines, with nine interdisciplinary
programs and self-designed majors, and exceptional programs in education,
business and science.

A
Catholic institution in the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame,
the college was established in 1922, and has never been afraid of
adapting to the changing needs of its students. The acclaimed Weekend
College (WECO), established in 1978, responded to the needs of non-traditional
students who needed a weekend class alternative. In 2003, WECO celebrated
its 25th anniversary.
Our biggest change came
in January 2001, when NDC admitted the first men in its history
into all its programs. Along with the men this fall, the college
added men's varsity sports: basketball, cross-country, soccer and
tennisin addition to existing women's basketball, cross-country,
soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. Notre Dame belongs to the
American Mideast Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate
Athletics (NAIA), the largest NAIA conference in the country.
US News & World Report ranked Notre Dame College as the third most diverse college in the Midwest among baccalaureate colleges.
