Track and Field Jump Coach

Part-time assistant coach needed to oversee the horizontal jumps. Successful coaching experience at either the high school or collegiate level preferred, although successful collegiate jumpers will be considered as well. Will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all aspects of the horizontal jumps training as well as a few other minor responsibilities as deemed necessary by the head coach.

Vice-President of Development

Notre Dame College (NDC) seeks an experienced professional to lead the Development Office and be a member of the executive team reporting directly to the President. The Vice-President of Development (VPD) is responsible for designing, implementing and supervising a variety of programs to strengthen funding support for NDC. A major opportunity will be to create a professional, comprehensive and dynamic Development Office and team. The VPD will plan, organize and implement resource development activities, including the annual campaign, capital campaigns, grant writing, planned giving, alumni affairs and special events.  The VPD will also serve as a consultant to the President relative to philanthropy, solicit major gifts as required, oversee the preparation of proposals, manage development publications, manage public relations in support of development activities, provide staff support to the Board of Directors’ Development Committee, prepare the Development Office annual budget, make public appearances in support of the College’s development goals and perform other duties as assigned.  The successful candidate must have a minimum of five years experience in a senior fundraising position with first hand managerial experience in all aspects of fundraising with particular emphasis on identifying, cultivating, and closing major gifts.  Other qualities include: ability to work well as a leader and a team member; ability to effectively lead and develop the Development staff; knowledge of the Greater Cleveland development market; excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills; ability to function well under deadlines; excellent organizational and analytical skills; the ability to produce detailed reports and audits.  Master’s degree required; CFRE preferred.  Compensation package includes salary, benefits and attractive incentive program.  Submit resume with letter of application and three references to: Human Resources Department, Notre Dame College, 4545 College Road, South Euclid, Ohio 44121 or careers@ndc.edu .  Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Assistant Director of Student Accounts

Notre Dame College Assistant Director Student Accounts reports to the Director of Student Financial Assistance. This position works as part of a team supporting the functions of a merged student services unit consisting of financial aid, and student accounts. This position has primary responsibility for coordinating the billing, collecting and recording of all college student receivables. They will works closely with other associates in the department to coordinate billing and payment. The Assistant Director administers cashiering function, which includes: payment arrangements, assesses late fees, and manages delinquent accounts. They will advises families on account balances, resolves disputes related to student accounts, meets with auditors, produces accounts receivable reports, and reconciles general ledger accounts. Supervisory experience needed and ability to work without supervision.

Job requirements:

  • 4 yr degree
  • Advanced accounting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience communicating effectively with families
  • Ability to maintain a broad perspective, apply sound judgment, and manage multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner
  • Expertise with Excel spreadsheets
  • Willingness to work as part of a merged environment, both independently on primary responsibilities and as part of a team to achieve quality student service
  • Quantitative, analytical and interpretive ability

Assistant Registrar for Academic Records

Start date: immediately

Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all student records. Maintains liaison relationship with the offices of Admissions, Student Accounts, and Retention for the resolution of various issues related to academic records matters.
  • Monitors and maintains all current and former student permanent file folder activity.
  • Participates in registrar-related/registration functions, workshops and admissions events for prospective and admitted students.
  • Supports customer service representatives.
  • Assures communication and implementation of FERPA throughout the campus.
  • Some evenings and weekends required.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related college experience.
  • Experience with student information systems.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to work with students

Residence Hall Director (Graduate Assistant) – Residence Life

Notre Dame College and the Office of Residence Life seek a qualified and self-motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant Residence Hall Director. Notre Dame College invites individuals who are interested in enrolling in the Master’s of Education program at the college to consider this position. The Residence Hall Director is a ten month, live-in position. Primary responsibilities include the development of a healthy and safe community in the residence halls, supervision of a staff of 6-8 resident assistants, on-call duty rotation and conducting judicial hearings for minor infractions of code of student conduct. This position will provide a successful candidate with an array of diverse learning experiences.

Candidates must be admitted into the Graduate program to be eligible for this position. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership and coaching skills, and a commitment to student development. Prior residence life experience is preferred. A monthly stipend will be given as compensation. A scholarship to cover tuition in the graduate program is available, and college housing and meal plan is provided as part of the benefit package. Notre Dame College, founded over 85 years ago by the Sisters of Notre Dame, is a Catholic four-year liberal arts institution located in South Euclid, Ohio. Housed in the Division of Professional Education, the Visiting Instructor in Special Education will have an emphasis in Mild Moderate Intervention Specialist. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, conduct formative evaluations of candidates in the field, and advise students. An earned doctorate in Special Education or related field is required, as is at least three years K-12 MMIS classroom experience. Expertise in one of the following is preferred: applied behavior analysis, strategies and methods, familiarity with inclusion and accommodations, or knowledge of assessment tools.
