Adjunct Instructors in Various Fields

In order to support its continued enrollment growth, Notre Dame College is seeking highly qualified adjunct instructors. Qualified instructors will hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in the field of which they would teach and have a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Positions are available for day, evening, and weekend courses.

We have an immediate need for qualified adjuncts in these areas:

  • Anthropology
  • Clinical adjunct faculty needed for NR 215 Foundations of Nursing I. Clinical hours are 6:30 to 10:00 or 7:00 to 10:30 AM on Monday mornings. Provide clinical supervision for first semester sophomore nursing students in BSN Program.
  • Clinical adjunct faculty needed for NR 320 Adult Nursing Practice. Clinical hours are 7:00 AM-1:30 PM on Wednesdays or Monday 3;30 to 10:00 PM. Provide clinical supervision for junior nursing students in BSN program.
  • History
  • Geography
  • Political Science (Ability to teach coursework in political thought, social science research, and comparative politics a plus!)
  • Pre-Calculus
  • Psychology
  • Spanish

Director of Student Accounts

TITLE: Director of Student Accounts

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide the overall management of student receivables.
  • Administer the calculation and posting of all tuition charges and related fees including auxiliary enterprise charges.
  • Oversee the application of financial aid to the student financial account including the posting of loans and responsible third party billings.
  • Record and apply all cash payments to student financial accounts in a timely and accurate manner for cashiering activities.
  • Manage collection activities that maximize collections of student receivables, promote healthy retention of students and excellent relations with students that must “stop-out” for financial or personal reasons.

QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY

  • College degree majoring in business or accounting.
  • Strong computer skills including integrated accounting systems and Microsoft Office systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Experience with higher education and bursar activities, regulatory process for Federal and State student financial aid, and consumer credit protection and related statutes.

Head Men’s/Women’s Track and Field Coach

Notre Dame College, an NAIA and member of the American Mideast Conference is accepting applications for the position of Head Women/Men Track and Field Coach. Coaching responsibilities include the recruitment and retention of academically competitive student athletes, budget management, planning and conducting practices, scheduling competition and fundraising. Previous coaching at the collegiate level is preferred as is a Masters degree. Computer skills are important, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
