Notre Dame College Names New Directors

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio— 4 April, 2005—Dr. Andrew Roth, president of Notre Dame College, has announced the appointments of Brian Emerson as Director of Campus Ministry and Hope Latiak as Director of Grants and Prospect Research.

Brian Emerson

Brian Emerson is the former Resident Director at Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y. and Pastoral Intern at Orchard Park Wesleyan Church. He received his B.A. in Religious Studies at Houghton College and his M.A. in Theology at Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora, N.Y. Emerson received the Student Government Association Male Christian Service Award for exemplary service to Houghton College in 2001-2002. He is a member of the Association of Christians in Student Development. A native of Buffalo, Emerson resides in Shaker Heights with his wife.

Hope Latiak

Hope Latiak is the former Manager of Institutional Advancement and Grant Writer for Cleveland Scholarship Program and former Development Manager for the Great Lakes Theater Festival. She previously held positions at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, N.Y., and the National Conference for Community and Justice in New York City and Charlotte, N.C. Latiak is a graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals and Chi Sigma Iota, Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society. She resides in her hometown, Lakewood.
