Notre Dame College to Host Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s Production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

WHAT: The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s free outdoor presentation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
WHEN: Sunday, June 8, at 7 p.m.
WHERE: On the lawn outside the College’s Administration Building. Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and seat themselves prior to the outdoor show. In case of rain, the play will move indoors to the College’s Performing Arts Center, on the ground floor of the Administration Building.
WHY: The performance, which is free and open to the public, is part of Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s 17th consecutive season of live outdoor performances of the works of William Shakespeare.
In “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” love and magic intermingle when two couples get lost in an enchanted fairy forest on the eve of a royal wedding. At the same time, a group of rustic amateur actors rehearse a play to be performed at the wedding. Fairy mischief abounds as dreams and reality become entangled.
