Notre Dame College will host its annual holiday celebration—a campus lighting and Christmas concert—Friday, December 5.

The lighting of the 20-foot College Christmas tree will be on the front lawn of Regina Hall beginning at 6 p.m., followed by festive beverages and light hors d’oeuvres. The College Department of Performing Arts then will present their annual Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. in Regina Auditorium.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Thomas G. Kruczek will be inaugurated as the fourteenth President of Notre Dame College on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in Murphy Gymnasium in the Joseph H. Keller Center,4545 College Road, South Euclid, Ohio.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony, and a Roman Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Murphy Gymnasium.

Kruczek became president of the College on July 1, succeeding Dr. Andrew P. Roth who retired on June 30.

Artists and performers from the community and students collaborate to create intergenerational dialogue, creativity and lifelong learning

Notre Dame College will exhibit the artwork of eight highly successful professionals from Northeast Ohio, who range in age from 60 to 96—and whose art is from the second half of their lives—in an exhibit titled “Second Act: Where Art Comes First; Finding a Second Career in the Arts.” 

Notre Dame College is hosting a free seminar for parents to help them help their children succeed in schoolbeginning with a reception at the College's Academic Support Center for Students with Learning Differences (ASC).

"The Disorganized Student: Proven Strategies for Student Success," featuring Michael J. Manos, Ph.D., head of the Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health at the Cleveland Clinic, is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, in Regina Hall on the College campus.

Notre Dame College's Abrahamic Center is proud to present Eboo Patel as its 2014 distinguished lecturer.

Patel, the founder and president of Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC), a Chicago-based organization building the interfaith movement on college campuses, will speak in the College’s Regina Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6.

The lecture, “Interfaith Cooperation: Why Religious and Non-religious Diversity Matters in the 21st Century,” is free and open to the public.

Notre Dame College’s Academic Support Center for Students with Learning Differences (ASC) and Division of Nursing have moved into their new─and newly renovated─campus spaces in time for the start of the 2014-2015 school year.

The ASC is now on the second floor and the Nursing Division on the third floor of the south wing of Regina Hall.

Notre Dame College’s Clara Fritzsche Library will host “Urban Abstracts & Daily Contrasts,” a showing of works by local photographer Stuart Pearl.

An opening reception will take place from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, in the library. The exhibit is free and open to the public and will run through October 31.
