Notre Dame Offers English as a Second Language Course

Notre Dame College will once again offer an English as a Second Language course this fall. The class will meet in the College’s Administration Building from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Aug. 30 to Dec. 10.

The course focuses on effective use of grammar, development of listening and writing skills, and reading comprehension. It will adapt to the needs of the class and students will develop mastery of the essentials of English grammar, recognize the difference between formal and informal language, and develop college level language skills.

Students can earn three undergraduate credit hours or 35 contact hours or 3.5 CEUs for continuing education credit. Attendance is required at all sessions. The undergraduate course cost is $450, continuing education course cost is $225 and au pairs pay $255.
