Notre Dame College to Host Christmas Celebration

Notre Dame College will host its annual holiday celebration─a campus lighting and Christmas concert─Friday, December 6.

The lighting of the 20-foot College Christmas tree will be on the front lawn of Regina Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by festive beverages and light hors d’oeuvres. The College Department of Performing Arts then will present their annual Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. in Regina Auditorium. Both events are free and open to the public.

The concert will feature The Notre Dame College Concert Band and The Notre Dame College Choir, in addition to smaller instrumental and vocal ensembles, in a program titled “Rejoice.” Selected pieces from the performance will explore variations on Christmas music and focus on traditional carols.

Notre Dame also will host a Breakfast with Santa for alumni and friends beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday December 7, in the Administration Building.

Admission, which includes breakfast, a private visit with Santa for a photo, a shop for children and games and activities, is $20 per adult and $15 per child 1 year and older. Babies under the age of 1 are free. The breakfast also will include a live performance of selections from “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!” by Mercury Summer Stock Theatre.

RSVP for the breakfast with Santa by Wednesday, December 4, by calling the Alumni Office at 216.373.6385 or order online here. Further details are available online.
