Marching Band Participates in Columbus Day Parade

Band Marches in Columbus Day Parade

The streets of Cleveland’s Little Italy will be filled with music by Notre Dame College’s marching band this Monday, Oct. 10, when it participates in the 59th annual Columbus Day Parade.

The band will step off around noon. It will play “American Salute” and the College’s fight song “Come All Ye Falcons.”

For the ninth straight year, the Columbus Day Parade will march through Cleveland’s Little Italy. Shops, restaurants and galleries will be open as thousands of people are expected to descend on the neighborhood.

“I look forward to a great day of parade-fun and community outreach,” Director of Bands Bill Neater said. “This is a great way to expose Notre Dame College and the amazing NDC band program to fellow Clevelanders. Invite family, friends…anyone! It’s a great day!”
