More than 170 graduates will receive their diplomas during Notre Dame College’s 87th commencement on Saturday, May 14.

The festivities will begin with a hooding ceremony and baccalaureate liturgy at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 11 a.m. This beautiful celebration is a fitting culmination to the graduates’ career at Notre Dame. Family members and friends are invited to attend the ceremony and Mass. No tickets are required.

The commencement ceremony in the Regina Auditorium will follow at 3 p.m. This formal event is intended for adults only. Each graduate will receive five tickets for family members and friends. For their comfort, guests with children under the age of 5 will be seated in the Regina Gym, where the commencement will be televised.

Following the ceremony, a reception for the graduates and their families and friends will take place either on the lawn in front of the College’s Administration Building and or in the Murphy Gymnasium, depending on the weather.

All graduates participating in commencement are required to attend a  practice session in the Regina Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12. Following commencement practice, Notre Dame’s Alumni Association will host a champagne reception for the graduates in the foyer of the Administration Building.
