Notre Dame College’s Clara Fritzsche Library will host “An Alchemist’s Light,” an exhibit of color darkroom experiments by photographer Ben Hauser from Dec. 1 to Dec. 21. The exhibit will open with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.

Notre Dame College has completed the first month of the fall 2011 semester with a record number of students taking classes at the South Euclid, Ohio, campus and online.

Notre Dame College’s annual Christmas concert has become a wonderful tradition at the South Euclid, Ohio, campus. For many years, the voices of the NDC Choir have filled Christ the King Chapel with Christmas joy. This year, for the first time, the band and instrumental ensembles will join the choir for a joint performance to be held in the Regina Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9.

G.I. Jobs, the premier magazine for military personnel transitioning into civilian life, has awarded Notre Dame College the designation of Military Friendly School for the second year in a row.

On Thanksgiving morning, while most of us are sipping our first cup of coffee in our warm homes, 50 guys in Medina will be gathering in Mike and Connie Meadows backyard at 3075 Hood Road preparing for an 8 a.m. kickoff in what has become a long-standing holiday tradition. The Highland High School Marching Band will be present, as will an assortment of players’ children and wives as the 22nd annual Meadows Turkey Bowl begins.
