FROM THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD

Notre Dame College has always been blessed. Visionary leadership and a can-do spirit have been hallmarks of the College and have helped to make it a dynamic and vibrant learning community for generations of students. The leadership of the College is fully aware how much of this success is due to the generosity of our supporters. They help bring Notre Dame to life.

In the past year, we have received gifts from community-minded organizations such as the Parker Hannifin Foundation and from caring families such as Leona and Bernard O’Brien. These gifts have helped to create new laboratories and classrooms and provide financial support for students at the College. And ultimately, that is what it is all about—benefiting the students.

This past spring, a team from the Higher Learning Commission consisting of high-ranking officials from other Midwestern private colleges performed a site visit at Notre Dame College. After an extensive review of our records and in-depth personal interviews with administrators, faculty, staff and students, they concluded that the College is committed to our mission of preparing students for personal, professional and global responsibility and fully deserve continued accreditation. Their findings are a great credit to the entire college community and a validation that our work here is a worthy cause.

For you, our supporters, this is not a surprise. Your generous giving demonstrates that you have known all along the value that an institution such as Notre Dame has for its students and the impact we have had on Northeast Ohio.
