Policies and General Information

Notre Dame College invites you to display and sell your art or craft at our first Community Day event on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 10 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. Community Day replaces the former summer event, “NDC Art on the Circle.”

Exhibit your art/crafts surrounded by the beauty of our serene and picturesque campus and be part of campus activities for the Community which include (but not limited to!) a meet the President session, delicious food, building tours, music, family and children’s activities, afternoon mass and much more.

The event will take place rain or shine. Should the weather be too inclement to exhibit outdoors, space will be available in the College's Keller Center and/or Administration Building.

Entry applications
Entry applications can be submitted on-line at NotreDameCollege.edu/CommunityDay or printed and mailed to: Notre Dame College, 4545 College Rd., South Euclid, Ohio 44121   ATTN:  Karen Poelking. Photos of the art/craft you will be selling must accompany the entry application – attach to entry being mailed. Please be sure your photos represent the art/craft you will be selling at the Notre Dame College Community Day event. If you have a website where work can be viewed, please include your URL on the attached application.

The deadline for application is Sunday, September 6, 2015. Checks may be payable to Notre Dame College.

An entry fee of $35 must accompany this application. The $35 fee includes a 10x10 space for the exhibitor. You may bring your own table and chairs or you can rent these items from the college for an additional cost. One table and two chairs is an additional $15 or an extra table is an additional $10. Tents are optional and will not be provided by the college.

Acceptance and rejection of submitted applications will be sent out on Friday, September 11, 2015. The decision of the screening committee will be final. If rejected, you will be refunded your entry fee plus any additional cost for rentals.

No more than (1) space per artist. Use of the space is restricted to the artist(s) whose name(s) appears on the entry application. Specific table location requests cannot be guaranteed.


All art and crafts must be produced and priced by the artist.

**At the show, you are only allowed to show the media that was accepted by the college from your initial entry that you submitted**

General Information/Show Policies

  1. Notre Dame College reserves the right to remove objectionable art/craft from the exhibit.

  2. Electricity, extra tables and chairs are available on a limited basis for an additional cost.  They will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis and fees will be included on the exhibitor contract. If additional table(s) and chair(s) are required, please contact Kelly Cuffman at kcuffman11@students.ndc.edu for further information

  3. Each exhibitor is responsible for his/her own display area which must fit within the 10x10 space.

  4. Each exhibitor will take care of his/her own sales receipts and tax. The current sales tax in Cuyahoga County is 8% and must be collected.

  5. No commission fee is charged by the college.

  6. Each exhibitor must provide his/her own table coverings.

  7. All exhibitors are required to carry their own liability insurance as Notre Dame College assumes no liability for damage, theft or injury on premises.

  8. Installation and Dismantling of Exhibits: Set up will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2015 between 6:00am and 9:30am. Exhibitors must agree that setup will not obstruct the view or otherwise block or interfere with another’s exhibit.  Dismantling of exhibits may not begin before 4:30pm on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Exhibits must be completely dismantled by 6:00pm on Saturday.  The college will provide some assistance in the set-up and take-down processes.

  9. Cancelation after Friday, September 4, 2015 will not be refunded.

  10. Leaving early from the show will result in the rejection of future Community Day participation.
